About the event
The two day sculpture workshop can be used to create larger or multiple sculptures such as Boxing Hares, Giacometti inspired pieces, or your own design.
Although no previous experience is needed, we will be using most of the techniques used in the one day Hare Sculpture Workshop, so if you have attended one of those you will be in the best position to make the most of the weekend.
We start with steel stands and build up the sculpture with wire armatures, Mod Roc and plaster. The size of the steel stand can be adapted to your ideas as these become the strength and 'backbone' of the piece. For bespoke stands I would need at least two weeks notice to allow for welding etc. Please ensure they can fit into your vehicle!
I would discuss ideas prior to the workshop to ensure you can start immediately on your masterpiece.
