Suitable for complete beginners, this quality kit contains everything needed to create a fabulous bronze finished ‘Hare’ and 'Sleeping Cat' sculpture at home!  Both these sculptures are also sold as individual kits and ‘friends & family’ packs of 4 (see separate listings).
 
No previous clay sculpture experience is needed (honestly!).  Both sculptures come with their own set of detailed printed instructions and also an on-line, step-by-step video of Jo showing how to bring the sculptures to life which can be viewed as often as needed.

For the ‘Sleeping Cat’ the kit has a scale template of Jo's own British Blue Cat (Olive), however she also explains how to create a scale template of your own cat. Names can be scribed on the base to make it even more personal.
 
For the ‘Hare’, the provided armature has movable ears, head and tail to allow you to create your own individual pose before adding the clay.  Each hare sculpture is truly original!

Each sculpture will take about 90 minutes to sculpt using the quality air-drying clay, although Jo includes in the kit a bio-degradable bag to keep your sculpture moist should you wish to take a break. Once finished your sculptures are either left to air-dry over 24 - 48 hours or popped into an oven for 90 minutes!  You then use the provided paint and gilt cream (paint brush and applicators are in the kit) to create a beautiful bronze finish.

Please note - these wonderful sculptures are for enjoying inside as the air-drying clay prefers not to endure soggy weather ;-).  The kit is not suitable for children under 10 as it contains sharp items.
